Charity hike 'n' bike along M74

To mark the completion of the M74 project there is a one off chance to cycle, walk or run along it prior to the June opening.
On Sunday 22 May the special charity event is being held starting at the west end of the new motorway at the Shields Road Car Park, Scotland Street, Glasgow.
Members of the public are being invited to apply to take part in the "out and back" walk, run or cycle to Polmadie Road (4 km round trip) or over the full length to Fullarton Roundabout (14km round trip).
The event is limited to 20,000 participants and will provide an ideal opportunity to raise funds for charities.
You can now register online or download an entry form and submit a postal entry. A small entry fee of £5 will be charged with the proceeds donated to the event's eight nominated charities.
