new gym equipment at Forth community centre

The newly refurbished gym in the Forth Sports and Community Centre is set to open its doors tomorrow after a £20,000 upgrade.

From 10am to 4pm on Saturday 17 September you can try out our taster sessions in an exercise class or have an introduction to a gym-based exercise programme.

This free event is open to all with staff on hand to answer questions and offer a range of great value memberships on the day.

Following the refurbishment there is now an excellent range of cardiovascular and strength training equipment complimented by a revised exercise class programme with something to suit all tastes. And the class programmes are constantly under review with even more classes planned for the future.

As well as providing a wide range of sporting activities since the centre opened in 1999, it has also been the focal point for a variety of community events including functions, meetings and children's birthday parties and a crèche to name but a few.

A term time activity programme for children 'Game On' is also running until December and this includes activities such as Active Kids Badminton, Little Kids Movers, and much more.
