Car park improvements completed

Improvements to the Duke Street multi-storey car park in Hamilton have now been completed.
The work included refurbishing levels 1-4 including concrete repairs and the application of a new protective paint system.
As well as maintaining the structural integrity of the building, the completed project has also improved the overall appearance of the car park and enhanced the safety and security for anyone using the facility.
Councillor Chris Thompson, the chair of the council's Enterprise Resources Committee, said: "Hopefully everyone using the car park will be able to notice the difference and I would like to thank everyone for their patience during the works."
Coupled with the work carried out back in 2009, when the top level of the car park was waterproofed, this brings the total investment in the car park to almost £1million (£940,000).
The contractor for this project was Matrix Solutions Limited.
