Resurfacing work in Hamilton

Road repairs are to be carried out on High Blantyre Road, Hamilton on Sunday.
The road will be closed between Udston Road and East Avenue from 6am on Sunday 5th August until 11pm with access not possible to and from Udston Road.
A diversion route will be in place, and traffic will be diverted along Pollock Avenue, Hillhouse Road and East Avenue.
Councillor Chris Thompson, the chair of the council's Enterprise Resources Committee, said: "We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these necessary works may cause. We would request that all road users allow additional time for journeys."
