Last pupils returning to school

Following the summer break the last pupils to return to school will start back on Monday 20 August.
The opening of three schools will now take place following preparation of classes at new schools or temporary accommodation:
- Coalburn Primary, Lanark - re-opens in temporary accommodation at the former Woodpark Primary School building, Priory Road, Lesmahagow - the nursery class will be located in modular units at Coalburn Leisure Centre
- Carstairs Junction Primary and Hunter Primary, East Kilbride - new schools open to pupils
- Leadhills Primary, Biggar - re-opens in temporary accommodation on the same site
