Tenants to have say on rent

Council house tenants are getting the chance to have their say on next year’s rent levels.
If you are a tenant and would like to find out about the council’s budget, the rent setting process and the options for setting the rent level for 2013-14 there is a series of events running over the next few weeks.
To give as many people as possible a chance to take part, the meetings will be held across South Lanarkshire at the following locations:

Hamilton - Committee Room 2, Council Offices, Almada Street on October 23 at 6.30pm

East Kilbride - Council Chambers, Civic Centre on October 24 from 7-8.30pm

Rutherglen - Town Hall on November 6 from 2-4pm

Cambuslang - Cadoc Suite, Cambuslang Gate on November 7 at 2pm

Lanark - Council Chambers, South Vennel on November 20 at 6pm

Carluke - Council Offices, Kirkton Street on November 21 at 7pm

Larkhall - Community Centre, Montgomery Street on November 27 at 4pm

Blantyre - Rowans Community Hall on November 28 at 2pm
