Museums FAQ's

Answer:

We are unable to provide valuations for objects. Museums collect objects for their cultural and historical, rather than monetary, value. To us, the value of an object lies in its history or its rarity, the story connected with it, or how important it was to a person or a past event. These are things which are impossible to value.

For this reason, we do not hold valuation catalogues. If you would like a monetary valuation for an object, please contact a reputable auctioneer, dealer or professional valuer. These can be found in Yellow Pages or on the internet.
