South Lanarkshire CLD Partnership


Local organisations involved in community-based learning with young people, adults and community groups

South Lanarkshire Community Learning and Development (CLD) Partnership consists of a range of partners operating across South Lanarkshire from the public and voluntary sectors that have a role in developing Community Learning & Development activities.

The CLD Partnerships oversees the planning, development and evaluation of Community Learning and Development activities across South Lanarkshire.

Current South Lanarkshire CLD Partnership includes:

  • Youth, Family and Community Learning Service (YFCLS)
  • Enterprise Resources
  • Integrated Children's Services (ICS)
  • New College Lanarkshire
  • Skills Development Scotland (SDS)
  • South Lanarkshire College
  • South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (SLLC)
  • University of the West of Scotland (UWS)
  • Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire (VASlan)
  • Workers Education Association (WEA)
  • Department of Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • NHS Lanarkshire

The group is chaired by Cllr Katy Loudon and reports to the Community Planning Partnership.

It meet 4 times per year and it has started to produce a newsletter to share far and wide some of the good practice delivered across the partnership.
