Neighbourhood issues
If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour or a neighbour nuisance, you can tell us by completing our online reporting form below or by calling our 24‑hour hotline. We will listen, investigate and take action when needed.
Working together for safer neighbourhoods
Most people want to live in a safe, peaceful community with no litter, graffiti or disruptive behaviour. We work with residents and partner organisations to make this possible.
How we help
We use a range of services to prevent and deal with anti-social behaviour:
Mediation service
Our mediation service helps neighbours resolve disputes before they escalate.
Anti-social behaviour team
This specialist team investigates serious cases and works to find solutions that protect residents.
Community wardens
Wardens patrol some areas across South Lanarkshire. They offer reassurance, gather information and support local communities.
Cleaner neighbourhoods
We continue to increase our work to remove litter, graffiti and environmental damage so that public spaces stay welcoming.
Joint problem solving groups
We work closely with Police Scotland and other partners through six multi‑agency problem solving groups across South Lanarkshire. These groups review local concerns, spot emerging issues and develop long‑term solutions. This joint approach helps us tackle problems more effectively than any single organisation could do alone.
