Aims and Objectives
This savings proposes a procurement contract review which should contribute towards a proposed
reduction in the allocation for classroom materials (e.g. musical instruments, sports equipment and jotters)
in schools and establishments.
Conclusion
Part of this proposal may affect pupils with additional support needs. Discussions would take
place with all affected parties and resources will be reprioritised based on individual pupils’
requirements. No adverse impact is anticipated for any of the groups covered by the
protected characteristics.
