What we found out | Interim Results as of July 2018: School Travel Plans have been formulated from the results of this consultation for the following schools: Biggar Primary; Burgh Primary; Carnwath Primary; Chatelherault Primary; Crosshouse Primary; Glengowan Primary; Hallside Primary; Hareleeshill Primary; Kirklandpark Primary; Lanark Primary; Loch Primary; Mount Cameron Primary; Newfield Primary; Quarter Primary; Rigside Primary; St Elizabeth’s Primary; St. Mark’s Rutherglen; St. Mary’s Hamilton; St. Ninian’s Primary; St. Paul’s Primary; Tinto Primary; Townhill Primary; and Uddingston Grammar. The travel plans have consisted of delivering safety messages within schools; setting up park smart promotions and promoting the use of walking buses, cycle trains, and park and stride initiatives. The road safety team also take out their mobile speed indicator display system (SID) to areas where speeding drivers have been known to be an issue. |
