BackgroundThe draft policy and consultation questionnaire were available on the council’s website for tenants and stakeholders to provide feedback. We also held a range of events and focus group meetings where discussions took place with specific interest groups and key stakeholders

How will findings be used?More than 500 people took part in the consultation. This feedback has been considered and used to inform the revised Housing Allocation Policy which was presented to Housing and Technical Resources Committee and approved on 20 March 2019.
What we found outThe revised policy provisions will be implemented from 1 May 2019 and the new Housing Allocation policy will be published on our website.
