| Aims and Objectives | The Early Years service has offered increased flexibility to parents and families through the provision of extended Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) provision across our nursery classes and standalone establishments over the last few years as part of our strategy for ELC expansion. This provides families with the ability to align with the needs of the child in the context of their families in support of employment. It is proposed to increase the budget to reflect income levels and trends over the last few years which will see an increased income of £0.150m. This increase in income will have no impact on service delivery. |
| Conclusion | The conclusion of this equality impact assessment is that no negative impact has been identified for any of the groups covered by the protected characteristics. This proposal will allow for a potential income generation of £0.150m whilst offering parents the ability to align their childcare needs with their families' employment needs. No impact on service delivery is anticipated. |
