|Membership of the Association is open to all residents living in the defined Logan Street area over the age of 16.
Associate membership is open to people who do not live in the Association area, but who are interested in helping the Association achieve its aims. The Committee will decide whether to grant associate member status, and whether to grant associate member voting rights as and when it occurs.
Voting membership will end when a member stops living in the area represented, dies or resigns, unless the Committee decides to grant associate membership status.
|There shall be an AGM within fourteen months of the Association’s last AGM.
|a) To represent the interests of and promote membership to all the tenants and residents within the defined area.
b) To promote the interests and rights of tenants and residents and to encourage them to be more actively involved.
c) To ensure that all tenants and residents are consulted and informed regularly.
d) To work towards improving the quality of life for local people and their community.
e) To assist and promote social activities for recreation and enjoyment and encourage a community spirit and sense of responsibility.
f) To be non-party political.
g) To represent the majority view of the community.
h) To consider the views of children and young people who are not old enough to be voting members.

|To enhance/improve our local community and help and assist tenants and residents with any housing and community related issues.
To provide and support tenants and residents of Logan Street, Blantyre with advice and assistance wherever possible on housing and community related matters.
