DescriptionAnyone who is currently unemployed and not in full time education (anything over 12 hours is classed as full time for this program) can access Fair Start Scotland and get support for up to 12 to 18 months pre work and then a further 12 months in work support.
The program focuses on individuals, the barriers you face and looks at updating or highlighting any skills you have or need to either change careers or fulfil your existing career goals.
People can access personal development, funded courses, equipment and travel costs where appropriate to support them into sustainable employment.
We have access to multiple employers in multiple sectors whom we are able to have open conversations with, in order to make sure our participants are fully supported when going in to work.
AreaNorth and South Lanarkshire, and also Tayside (Dundee, Angus, Perth and Kinross). However Fair Start Scotland is available all over Scotland and is delivered by different providers in other areas.
