Am I exempt from paying nursery charges?

Is there a deadline for applications?

Where possible applications should be submitted no later than the end of February each year to be considered in the annual admissions process for places between August and February.

However, applications can be submitted after the deadline; these will be considered at the monthly admissions review after the annual admissions process. Nursery staff can inform you of the deadline dates for monthly admissions.

What documentation do I need to bring along when completing my application?

Please bring your child’s birth certificate and two proofs of residence to be verified by nursery staff.

Your child’s application cannot be processed without these.

What proofs of residence are accepted?

  • Council Tax statement
  • Bank Statement
  • Driving Licence
  • Working Tax Credit letter
  • Child Tax Credit letter
  • Child benefit letter
  • Utility Bills dated within 6 months of your application

Is my child eligible for a funded early learning and childcare place?

All 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds will get up to 1140 hours of Early Learning and Childcare, depending on when they start during the academic session.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • All 3 and 4 year old children.
  • Children approved for a deferred entry to Primary School.
  • 2 year olds who are or have been since they turned 2, cared for by the local authority (LAAC), or cared for under a kinship care order.
  • 2 year olds whose families receive qualifying benefits or have experienced care.
