We provide housing support for those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. We help them prepare for their own tenancy by assisting them with developing the skills and confidence for moving into a new home.
Our Housing Support Officers are based in our local offices. We also have specialist Housing Support Officers based at Cambuslang Gate who provide outreach housing support for people in the community.
We also offer supported accommodation projects to those who are homeless and have higher support needs, which can help develop the skills needed to move on to permanent accommodation. Each person has their own room but some of these have shared facilities, such as a kitchen and lounge. Support staff are available on site 24 hours a day to provide help and give advice.
Our supported accommodation is regulated by the Care Inspectorate to make sure that it meets their standards. More information is available on the Care Inspectorate website.
If you feel you need housing support please speak to your Housing/Homelessness Officer or your Housing Support Officer who will be able to assist.
