Changes to the Planning and Building Standards Service

The Planning and Building Standards Service is installing new software to manage the administration of planning and building warrant applications.

Normal service delivery will be affected between 2 and 23 February 2018. During these dates the processing of new applications will be affected as will progress on applications previously submitted

What you can do to help

  • If possible wait until after these dates to submit an application or to contact us about an application already submitted.
  • Whilst officers will be available it would be helpful, between these dates, to limit any communication with Planning and Building Standards services to essential matters.

We will update this page with any progress reports.

The system upgrade will help us deliver a better and more efficient service and will include a new portal for viewing planning and building standards applications online.

We apologise for any inconvenience that will be caused by this essential upgrade.
