[3] A Wanted Registered Sex Offender is defined as those who are subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and who have a live warrant in force.

- where the circumstances are out of character; or
- the context suggests the person may be subject to crime; or
- the person is at risk of harm to themselves or another

It should be noted the method of recording these figures in the Lanarkshire Annual Report was altered from 2018 onwards. Previously, these figures included all offenders who had been notified to the MAPPA Co-ordinator at any point between 1 April and 31 March.
