[3] A Wanted Registered Sex Offender is defined as those who are subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and who have a live warrant in force.

[4] A Missing person is defined as anyone whose whereabouts is unknown and:

  • where the circumstances are out of character; or
  • the context suggests the person may be subject to crime; or
  • the person is at risk of harm to themselves or another

[6] These figures include all offenders who have been notified to the MAPPA Co-ordinator by the Responsible Authorities in the community and within the SPS estate or NHS facilities as at 31 March 2022.  It should be noted the method of recording these figures in the Lanarkshire Annual Report was altered from 2018 onwards. Previously, these figures included all offenders who had been notified to the MAPPA Co-ordinator at any point between 1 April and 31 March.
