Stewartfield Way proposed upgrade

How to comment on the proposals

The consultation on the project will be open from 18 November to 20 December.

There were two public drop-in sessions where you could see plans and officers from the project team were on hand to answer any questions and gather feedback. The events were at:

  • Stewartfield Community Centre, MacNeish Way, Tuesday 26 November from 1-8pm
  • The Plaza in East Kilbride Shopping Centre, Wednesday 27 November from 9am-5pm

These proposals are at an early stage and the purpose of the consultation exercise is to gauge public opinion prior to committing investment in further detailed preparatory work.

Please note this is not a formal planning application. It is a period of consultation feedback to be provided and for us to consider it. If the project progresses to a full planning application you will be able to share your views again.

Comments can be made on the proposals using an online survey.

Alternatively you can:

  • email us no later than 20 December 2019
  • write to South Lanarkshire Council, Roads and Transportation Services, Montrose House, 154 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton, ML3 6LB
