Have your say on our buildings and services
We're asking for your views on our proposed plans for council buildings and service locations between 2026 and 2036.
The proposals look at how we use our buildings and how people access services in the future. Your feedback will help us understand how these changes could affect residents, communities, service users and local organisations before any decisions are made.
What the proposals include
The draft plans include:
- improving and investing in buildings we will continue to use
- moving some services into better accommodation
- bringing services together in shared locations
- reducing the number of office buildings
- reducing the number of depot sites
- removing buildings that are no longer needed or are not well used
- developing new ways for people to access council services
Why your feedback matters
We want to hear about the possible impact of these proposals on your community.
Your views will help us understand:
- if any proposals could create unexpected problems
- if any groups or communities could be negatively affected
- if there are local issues we should consider
- how changes could affect access to services
- whether there are opportunities to improve the plans

What happens next

The feedback received will help us refine the proposals before the Estate Strategy for 2026 to 2036 is finalised
