Aims and Objectives
To provide school meals to all pupils within primary, secondary, special needs, nurseries and any other establishment as required, throughout South Lanarkshire.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation or on community relations. This function provides a school meal provision for all children within education and nursery establishments. All dietary and special needs requirements are catered for on request and are monitored using customer satisfaction surveys and complaints received. This forms the basis of reported PIs which would highlight any adverse impact.
