Aims and Objectives
The strategy sets out the Councils commitment to providing accessible information for all services. The strategy provides guidelines for ensuring that the needs of the community are understood and met.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. The strategy has been developed with the involvement of community groups and the citizens panel to ensure that the needs of members of the public have been properly understood. As such the strategy and its action plan are intended to meet and address the needs and concerns of the South Lanarkshire community.
