Conclusion
This initial equality impact assessment has identified the need to collect and analyse monitoring data to enable a full assessment to be completed. An action plan has been developed to do this and a full assessment will be carried out within 12 months. It is clear that policies in relation to taxis could have a significant effect on people's day-to-day lives and we need to ensure that we have sufficient information available to make a proper and reasonable assessment. Our action plan will allow us to do this.
