Aims and Objectives
Provision of a confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Leader of the Council, Senior Councillors, Councillors and the Provost's Office. This includes Councillors Case Management System (CCMS) support, instigation of problem solving measures in members' absence, surgery arrangements, conference/ accommodation and travel arrangements, research and information facility.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equality legislation or on community relations. Member Services provides support to the 67 elected members of South Lanarkshire Council to allow them to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
