Aims and Objectives
Scottish Government funding ended for this project in January 2009. The Council has been unable to secure long term funding for this project and as a result the Resource requires to make changes to the management structure to remain within budget with effect from 31 March 2010.
Conclusion
As part of the Resources 10/11 savings it is proposed to review the management arrangements of Breaking the Cycle to enable this service to be managed within budget for 10/11. Following the impact assessment undertaken, the Council has reached the conclusion that the implementation of this saving will not have any significant adverse impact on any equality group.
