Aims and Objectives
A grant is paid to the Hamilton Volunteer Group to operate the Burnbank Volunteer Resource Centre located in Argyll Drive, Hamilton. The centre provides a base for community activities.
Conclusion
This initial equality impact assessment has identified there would be an adverse impact and that there is a need to collect and analyse monitoring data and undertake wider consultation to enable a full assessment to be completed. An action plan has been developed to do this and a full assessment will be carried out within 12 months.
On the basis of this assessment the proposed efficiency saving has been withdrawn.
