Aims and Objectives
The Council makes financial contributions to external bodies for the provision of services to pupils and their families with a particular emphasis on supporting those in most need. It is proposed to remove the contribution to three organisations.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this initial impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. There is a recognition that a reduction in the level of funding could undermine the nature of specific partnership working. This could result in partners redirecting learners/users back to the Council for services, which may or may not be able to be delivered.
