Aims and Objectives
The Council makes contributions to external bodies for the provision of services to young people. It is proposed to reduce the Council's contribution to various external organisations.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this initial impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. However, there is a recognition that a reduction in the level of contribution could have an adverse impact on young people's ability to achieve qualifications/accreditation outwith school, or be fully prepared for the world of work.
