Aims and Objectives
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (SLLC) currently provides an Active Schools programme with Education Resources making a contribution to SLLC for this service. It is proposed to cease the contribution from March 2011, when the current project agreement ends.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this initial impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. This service enhances and is additional to existing statutory provision and therefore has to be considered as part of the overall savings package.
