Aims and Objectives
Centralisation of the learning and development teams across the Council Resources will result in efficiencies made through natural reduction in staffing levels and/or centralisation of budgets that will produce economies of scale.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the workforce covered by equalities legislation, or on workforce relations. The proposal is in line with the Councils collective agreement and therefore identifies efficiencies from natural reductions in staffing levels. The efficiencies that arise from the centralisation of budgets will not have a direct affect on the Councils duties.
