Aims and Objectives
Review of transport procurement framework, consideration of more localised education provision options
requiring less transport and continuation of more independent travel to support life skills where possible to
do so.
Conclusion
As this proposal may result in an alteration to existing ASN transport, there is a possibility that
there may be a negative impact for some of those covered by this protected characteristic.
This is a statutory provision however, alternative methods of delivery will be considered.
Assessment of pupil needs and consultation with parents/carers will ensure that any negative
impact is minimised.
