Consultation summary and background
South Lanarkshire Council is developing a Good Food Strategy. It will set objectives and actions to tackle health, social, economic and environmental food challenges and take food as an opportunity to contribute to improving the quality of life of everyone in South Lanarkshire. The strategy also encourages the engagement of the community to be involved in the development of a Good Food Council. Therefore, we want to hear your views about the proposed vision and objectives to ensure that they meet your needs and that local priorities are captured.
How will findings be used?
The results of the survey will directly help inform the council’s Good Food Strategy and be used for the formulation of an action plan. They will be available following the end of the consultation period. Moreover, the results will help shape one of the specific components of the Good Food Strategy: the Food Growing Strategy which will be consulted upon during the summer of 2019
