A replacement play area was opened in October 2022 and includes parking, wooden sculptures, a range of play opportunities for various ages as well as a selection of inclusive equipment such as a wheelchair accessible roundabout, basket swing, sensory items and multiunit with ramp access.

This is mainly a flat site which may be suitable for those with some mobility issues. The facility nearby also includes football pitches, tennis courts and bowling greens.
