The play area is situated close to the caravan park and the nearby Biggar puppet theatre. This play area has provision for both toddlers and juniors. Other facilities on site include an 18 hole golf course, a bowling green, synthetic tennis courts and a pond area.

Site is managed by South Lanarkshire Council but South Lanarkshire Leisure and Cultural Trust are responsible for buildings and bookable facilities.
