Lanark Men’s Shed is based within the idyllic grounds of New Lanark Heritage site overlooking the falls of Clyde.
We currently have three units down at New Lanark, units 4, 5, 6 and unit 6 has two work levels. We are about to expand again by taking on a bigger 4th space for our large wood store and the new space will be in the Retorte House just along from our current location.
The shed occupies a fantastic workspace, allowing plenty of space for woodturning, two extensive woodwork workshops, 3D printing, CNC Routing and engraving, and various other activities.
The Shed is always throwing our doors open to potentially interested members, passing visitors and tourists to pop in for a tour, a warm welcome and a cup of coffee or tea.
