Consultation summary and background
Participatory Budgeting actively engages residents in local priority setting, decision making and the allocation of elements of public funds. This process has been adopted across the nine Neighbourhood Planning areas within South Lanarkshire and enables local people to have their say on how money should be spent within their community. We are now able to offer the community the opportunity to make improvements under these priorities through Participatory budgeting. A budget has been made available by South Lanarkshire Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
