Assemble outside old Clydesdale Bank opposite St Nicholas Church, Castlegate, Lanark. When the bell rings at 6pm, the children run around the church three times clockwise, leaving from Castlegate, into Hyndford Place, Broomgate, Bloomgate, High Street. Younger children are usually accompanied by an adult. Dispersal from Castlegate and Hyndford Place.
