South Lanarkshire Council is starting the process of reviewing its Short-term Let licensing policy. The policy sets out how the licensing authority considers and determines applications for short-term let licenses. The policy also details the expectations the authority has of licence holders in operating their premises.
Why are we consulting?
As a relatively new licensing regime, South Lanarkshire Council is inviting you to contribute to any amendments you feel would enhance the current policy and is keen to receive a wide range of responses. The results of this consultation (on the existing policy) will help to shape any changes

Businesses, Community groups/organisations, General public (including residents of an area), Stakeholders and Tenants
How will findings be used?
Results of the consultation will be considered, with any feasible amendments presented to the Executive Committee for approval of the reviewed policy.
