Description of service: The Council Leader, Provost, Chief Executive and Executive Directors of all our departments are based in the Almada Street Headquarters. Opened by HRH the Queen Mother in 1964, this A-listed building was designed by D.G Bannerman, Chief Architect of Lanark County Council.
Opening times: Monday to Thursday 8.45am-4.45pm; Friday 8.45am-4.15pm
Disabled access: Parking for disabled people, level access at the west wing entrance, automatic door. Council Chamber, Committee Room 1 and Banqueting Hall have Infra-red hearing assistance systems and Committee Rooms 2, 3, 4, 5 and Corporate Dining Room have mobile receivers available. Accessible reception, lift and toilets for disabled people.
