- The new cemetery for the village was opened in 1939 and has records dating back to 1940. The cemetery can be found bordering the local primary school and is a short walking distance from the village green. Lairs can only be purchased at the time of burial within this cemetery and cremated remains can also be interred in existing family lairs.
