Why are we consulting? | Consultations ensure that the views of the community are considered when setting school holiday dates. This helps to align holidays across schools and accommodate local holidays and events |
Who are we consulting | Children, Citizen's Panel, Community groups/organisations, Ethnic minorities, Faith groups, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, General public (including residents of an area), Head teachers, Men, Parents, Carers, Guardians, People with disabilities, Service users, Staff/employees, Stakeholders, Volunteering groups/organisations, Women and Young people |
How will findings be used? | The feedback collected during the consultation will be reviewed and presented to the Education Resources committee who will make a final decision on the school holiday dates for session 2026/27. |
