Pride in Place

The Talk Shop – consultation workshop

Workshop sessions run at various times from Monday 28 September to Friday 9 October 2026.

To reserve an individual space, or to invite your community group along, email prideinplace@southlanarkshire.gov.uk

Spaces are limited and you will have to register to attend.

The Talk Shop is where residents, workers, businesses, community groups, students and visitors can share their views on how Hamilton Town Centre should change. Attendees will be invited to immerse themselves in the Pride in Place consultation by participating in an interactive version of the survey, which includes rating scales to show how attendees feel about aspects of Hamilton Town Centre, heat map spotting areas that feel unsafe, and, through open discussion, share thoughts and suggestions to improve Hamilton though the lens of Place, Offering, Community, Wellbeing, Education, Businesses and Safety.
