Toilet map of Lanark town centre
If you are visiting Lanark town centre and need access to a toilet, this map can help you find available facilities. It shows public toilets and other locations where toilets may be available for public use.
The map was developed as part of the Age-friendly South Lanarkshire programme to help people feel more confident about getting out and about, knowing toilet facilities are available nearby.
Why we created the map
Access to toilets can be an important factor when deciding whether to leave home, particularly for older people and those with certain health conditions.
Feedback from members of Seniors Together highlighted the need for clearer information about toilet facilities in Lanark. In response, we worked with local partners to create a map showing locations that can be accessed by the public.
What the map shows
The map includes toilet facilities in:
- South Lanarkshire Council buildings
- South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture facilities
- Other participating locations in Lanark town centre
The facilities available vary by location.
Before you visit
Opening times, access arrangements and restrictions may differ between locations. We recommend checking details with the venue before you travel.
As toilet provision in Lanark is limited, planning ahead can help make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable.
Age-friendly South Lanarkshire aims to make communities more inclusive and accessible for older people. Providing clear information about local facilities helps residents stay active, independent and connected to their communities.
