Non-domestic rates - ways to pay

You can pay your business rates in 10 monthly instalments from May to February.

Payments are due on the 7th of each month.

Important information

• we don't accept American Express or Electron cards.
• we don't offer discounted payment terms through third‑party companies. Always pay the council directly.
• if you’re struggling to pay, please contact us as soon as possible. We’re here to help.

Ways to pay

Direct Debit

We collect your payment automatically from your bank account on the 7th of the month. Use the form below to set up a direct debit or to update your bank details

Online

You can pay online using a credit or debit card.

You’ll need:

• your 14‑digit account number
• the account name (shown on your rates bill)
• your card details

Phone

You can make a card payment 24 hours a day through our automated payment line:

Online banking

You can pay directly from your bank account or set up a standing order.

Use the council’s bank details:

• sort code: 83‑22‑26
• account number: 00146582

Please quote your 14‑digit rates account number so we can allocate your payment correctly.
