Core path closures

Core path closure CL/5179/1

Core path CL/5179/1 in Coalburn (Bellfield road to the Bing) will be temporarily closed for safety reasons due to its use as a short-term access road for the construction of the new Coalburn to NCN 74 Active Travel Path.

It will form part of a temporary haul route to bring in stone to Bing area and the public are advised against attempting to use this section of core path in working hours during this short period.

An alternative route is available on Railway Road (leading to Core Path CL/3317/1)

The closure is from Friday 28 March until Friday 17 April approximately.

Core path closure CL/3305/1

Core path CL/3305/1 crossing the River Nethan by Stockbriggs is currently closed for safety reasons due to the condition of the bridge. Public are advised against attempting to use the bridge and should seek an alternative route as appropriate.
