The South Lanarkshire Council Hillridge Farm to Huntfield House, Biggar - Public Path Diversion Order 2021

Notice is given that the above Order is about to be made and submitted to the Scottish Government for confirmation. If no representations or objections are made to South Lanarkshire Council regarding the Order, or, if any are made and then withdrawn, the Order shall, when made, take effect without it having to be submitted to the Scottish Government and without its confirmation.

Where will the path be diverted?

The effect of the Order as proposed will be to divert the public right of way shown shaded yellow and by a broken black line and lying between the points marked ‘A’ and ‘B’ on the Map to the line shown by a dashed brown line between the points marked ‘A’ and ‘C’ on the Map.

If you wish to be notified that the Order has come into operation, you should write to the Head of Administration and Legal Services at the address below, giving your name and address, to which these documents may be sent

Compensation for depreciation or damage in consequence of the coming into operation of the Order is payable in accordance with Sections 37 and 70 of the Countryside (Scotland) Act 1967.

How to object or comment

Any representations or objections on the Order should be sent in writing to the Head of Administration and Legal Services at the address below before 3 September 2021 and should state the grounds on which it is made.
