Popular riding routes
We highlight several routes across the area, each offering a different experience:
- Falls of Clyde, Lanark – a figure‑of‑eight loop through the Clyde Valley
- The Differick – wide views over Clydesdale
- Broken Cross Muir – follows an old drove road used for centuries
- Lesmahagow circular ride – quiet lanes, firm tracks and a disused railway
- Biggar to Broughton to Skirling – mostly off‑road with scenic countryside
- Forth and Wilsontown – a network of paths including old railway lines and forest tracks
- The Beeches, Lanark – part of the historic Riding of the Marches route
