Consultations
Lanarkshire Ethnic Minority Action Group
We work with people from ethnic minority communities across Lanarkshire to listen, share views and improve local services. The Lanarkshire Ethnic Minority Action Group (LEMAG) is open to individuals and community groups who want to get involved. You can join at any time, attend monthly meetings, and help shape services that affect your community.
What LEMAG does
LEMAG is a group where people come together to:
- share experiences and discuss local issues
- give feedback on services and plans
- help improve equality and fairness in the area
They work closely with local organisations and public services to make sure different voices are heard and respected.
Who can join
They welcome:
- people from ethnic minority backgrounds
- community group representatives
- anyone who wants to help improve services and support their community
You do not need any experience to take part. They value your views and lived experience.
Their aims
They focus on:
- improving health and wellbeing in communities
- supporting community involvement and participation
- identifying projects that can make a real difference, both now and in the future
- promoting fairness and equal access to services
Meetings
They meet once a month to discuss issues, share ideas and plan next steps. These meetings are a chance to speak openly and help influence change.
Get involved
You can join LEMAG and have your say on issues that matter to you. Taking part is simple, and you can be as involved as you like.
