Fusion mobile app for secondary school pupils

Grab and go secondary school lunches

The Fusion mobile app lets pupils order and pay for school meals in advance using their mobile phone. There is no queuing, no searching for change and no need to bring cash to school. The app links directly to your child’s ParentPay account, making school meals quick, easy and contactless.

Pre‑ordering also helps our school kitchens prepare the right meals each day, so pupils get the food they want and less food is wasted.

What pupils can do with the app

Using the Fusion mobile app, pupils can:

  • check their ParentPay balance
  • order food in advance from the grab and go menu
  • choose the day they want their meal
  • select a collection point in school
  • view their order before collecting

Schools use set collection points to help manage busy times and reduce queues.

Free school meals

If your child receives free school meals, we add a daily credit of £2.92 to their ParentPay account on each school day. This credit can be used to pre‑order meals through the app.

How to get started

Pupils starting in August

If your child is starting school in August, you will receive an activation letter with an onboarding code. This code will also be sent to your child’s Glow email.

Get started

  1. Download the Fusion app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or search for “Fusion Online”.
  2. Open the app and tap Sign up.
  3. Enter your onboarding code.
  4. Add your email address and create a password.
  5. Choose a security question and answer.
  6. Tap Register.
  7. Check your email and follow the activation link.

Once your account is set up, you can log in and start ordering meals.

Before ordering, make sure you have added funds to your ParentPay school meals account. If you do not have a ParentPay account yet, contact your school office for an activation code.

Help with the app

If you need help using the app, visit the Fusion Online website for step-by-step guides and support.

Existing pupils

If your child has lost their code or did not receive one, contact the school office or speak to the cook in charge. They can check the system and provide the correct code.
