Apply for a Gypsy/Traveller pitch
If you want to apply for a pitch, you can complete the online form at the bottom of this page or contact your local housing office for help. We will assess your application and let you know the outcome within five working days.
Where our sites are
We have pitches/sites at:
- Shawlands Crescent, Larkhall – 21 pitches
- Springbank Park, East Kilbride – 6 pitches
How to apply
You can apply online or speak to your local housing office if you need support.
We will check your application and contact your previous landlords or sites for references.
Once we have all the information, we will:
- assess your application within five working days
- tell you if you have been added to the priority waiting list
- explain if your application has been refused or suspended
If you disagree with our decision, you can appeal in writing to your local area housing manager.
Before you move onto a pitch
If a pitch becomes available, you will sign an Occupancy Agreement. We will then confirm:
- the site regulations
- an agreed date and time to move in
- local information, such as health services, schools and police contacts
- the rent charges for the pitch
